School Based Professional Learning Development
Teacher Only Days - a single day with content requested from the school.
Series of three or four days over a school year - usually a Teacher only day and 2 or 3 in class/group modelling and professional discussion days
Extended PLD (Normally 2 - 3 years) for a single school or a cluster of schools.
The content of the professional learning is negotiated between the school and myself, beginning with the school or cluster vision of where they would like to be. We jointly plan a professional learning within the constraints of time and budget. At all times the school are in charge of their learning and an expectation is set that professional learning becomes part of the school or cluster and is sustained beyond the intervention time.
There is a limit on the number of schools who can be accommodated in any one year. Please make inquires to email@example.com
Charlotte organises and facilitates practical workshops at a variety of locations around New Zealand.

2017 Teaching as Inquiry: Collecting and using data for teaching and learning purposes
(for moderation and and using student evidence for improving practice)
Teaching as Inquiry is central to the NZ curriculum and the ongoing improvement in effective pedagogy through improving teacher content knowledge and ultimately the raising of student achievement. This workshop discusses the range and types of data collected - from national tests, screens, interviews, and classroom evidence and how to make the best use of the data for teaching and learning purposes. This workshop will make use of the learning progressions and teaching progression frameworks developed by Charlotte (The Wilkie Way) over many years.
Through participating in this workshop teachers will have unpacked progressions and made connections between aspects of mathematics to enable them to deliver both a broad and deeper conceptual understanding of mathematics in their mathematics programmes. They should have gained insights into decision making for OTJ's
